What is this thing outside?  It’s bright and warm and – I looked at it – it burns my eyes.  I think it’s called sunshine.  Haven’t seen it in a long while.

But although we had to wait a very long time for spring to arrive, we still get – right on time -the Saturday recap of some of my favorite bloggers and photographers.  Take a look and see what I mean.

And let’s start the recap with some podcast love, beginning with:

  1. This That & the 3rd local sports podcast, “Patroons Continue to Battle for 1st Place.

Then we’ll search for six great posts from the Times Union’s community (non-staff) blogging crew:

  1. Jaye McBride’s comedy blog, “The difference between edgy and douchy.
  2. Rob Hoffman’s “Hoffman Files” blog, “The late night evisceration of Donald Trump.
  3. Rabbi Matt Cutler’s blog, “Preparing for when the office next door becomes vacant…
  4. Senator Jim Tedisco’s blog, “Save the tips in NY!
  5. Brian Huba’s “Cat’s Pajamas” blog, “It’s the lying, stupid.
  6. Sonja Stark’s “PilotGirl” blog, “Mountain Lake PBS airs “Northbound and Around” travel videos

And now let’s harvest the blogroll for some great writing and photographs, shall we?

  1. Silvia Lilly’s “DelSo” blog, “Two timing.”
  2. Rob Moses’ Photography blog, “Winter Rocky Mountains.
  3. Rob Madeo’s “Keyboard Krumbs” blog, “Slice of Life.
