@D357. My father is no cheater. He can whoop ass without even trying. You are just mad because of a pure concidence. How childish to think this of a man who would give so much. These things happen. Wierd twist of fate rather than cheating. its just a game anyways, get the hell over it. Geez I should be acting like this, not you considering our age difference.

I was unaware that the rules of fair play don’t apply to great humanitarians. Perhaps I’ll bring a Bruce Springsteen discography, a box set of Entourage and a copy of the NY Yankees playoff history to next week’s game…just because coincidences happen.
But I’m not mad…and it’s not childish to believe something that’s already been admitted. It’s childish to try and deny it.
You can’t expect to call yourself trivia champion (just a game? to who? see the job description at the top of this page) and not take any heat on this.
He did what he did and it is what is.

    D357:

You are my new favorite person.

What we do, not what we say, defines us. I am glad someone agrees that we are all accountable for our actions.

Cassie: It is a weird twist of fate that your father printed out a map before a trivia game, brought it to the game, and then used it? That is not a twist of fate, that is planning to cheat, and then cheating. It was premeditated.

Trivia is just a game to me, but try telling that to a man who lies on the floor of a bar to try to estimate the distance to a dartboard. And even if it is just a game, does that mean it should not be played fairly?

At the end of the day I like Chuck as a person, but let’s not kid ourselves as to what the intent was here. I do think it was out of character, and I don’t think he will do it again. But this once, he did trip up, and he deserves every joule of heat he gets for it. He’s a grown man, and he should be able to handle it.

Yeah, I was going to say degree of heat, and then was like, no, I just can’t do it.

That’s what happens when you go to RPI. I figured someone would catch on to that hahaha.
