During my recent trip to New York City, I was fortunate to see the magnificent holiday window displays offered by various department store merchants. Both Macy’s and Lord & Taylor had some spectacular animated window displays – apparently Saks Fifth Avenue also had window displays, but I didn’t get a chance to see them.
I did have my Flip video camera with me, so I got some great footage of the animated window displays. and after I got back to the 518, I quickly edited all the footage together, added some music from the Phil Spector Christmas album, and felt like sharing the holiday spirit with all of you. Hope you enjoy.
THANK YOU so much !! I loved this! I always wanted to see the holiday windows but…well, now I feel as if I have 🙂

Isn’t there going to be a Street Academy/Chuck Miller Blog Christmas Party this year? It’s becoming obvious that Roz wants to catch me under the mistletoe.

Great job Chuck. Thank you for sharing this. I don’t get to the city unfortunately, but the one Christmas season I was there I loved it. So much to see and do. This was beautiful, reminded me of Disney.

Nice job Miller. The pictures are so clear. Did you climb inside the windows to take these shots ?
