Beats me why they crossed the road… all I know is that I was really glad that they did.
Explanation.
It’s Saturday morning, and I’m up with the crack of dawn, running around photographing various Albany iconography for a special photo project. As I headed back home, I took the scenic route (read: the non-I-787 route) and stopped at the Stewart’s in Menands for a few snacks and a couple of bottles of diet cola.
And just then, I saw them.
Several of them.
A whole gaggle of geese, walking across Broadway without a care in the world, oblivious to the Saturday morning traffic. And you could tell that the drivers – with all apologies to Robert McCloskey – made way for the goslings.
Man, I wish I had my little video camera in the car with me. All I had was my still cameras –
Hey wait a second. Didn’t I pack the RCA Small Wonder in the car for another project?
