A Dream Window to help animals

As my photographic “Competition Season” kicks in, so too does my “Charitable Season.”  And in “Charitable Season,” I offer an opportunity for you to acquire some of my artworks and photos… and, in exchange, your donations will help raise money for the Capital District’s local charities and causes.

This year, I will once again offer some artwork for bid.

And this time… it involves Dream Windows.

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s ninth annual “Art Saves Animals” charitable auction will take place this Thursday, October 3rd from 5:30 to 8:30pm at the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy.  The event features everything from wine pulls to culinary taste treats, and will showcase donated photography, sculptures, paintings, pottery and jewelry by the Capital District’s talented craftspeople and artisans.

Dream Window 7 - The Sacred Shore

And that includes… an opportunity for you to purchase this Dream Window.

This was my seventh Dream Window, titled “The Sacred Shore,” and features imagery that was captured from the shores of McLarens Beach in Saint John, N.B. in 2012 and 2013.

So here’s the deal.  If you want this elegant Dream Window in your house or office, save the date – October 3rd – and remember that your donation helps the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society take care of our furry friends, helps provide food and shelter for those pets who, in time, will find a new home and a new life with new, loving families.

Besides, you know you want this artwork.  And you don’t want anybody else getting their meathooks on what should rightfully be yours… right? 🙂
