You’ve heard of Someecards.com.ย Well, I’m sure you’ve heard of Someecards.com’s output – they’re all over your friends’ Facebook walls and, by extension, they’re in your news feeds as well.ย Sort of like how many of your Facebook friends are into the bitstrips feature, where their lives and actions are turned into cartoon characters.
Normally, Internet funstuffs like Someecards are just a harmless diversion.ย Some people get bent out of shape if they see a Someecard in their news feed.ย Heck, I’ve heard of people actually writing whole blog posts about how terrible the Someecards are.
Truth be told… they don’t bother me that much at all.ย In fact…
Here’s some examples of what would happen if my blog received a ton of Someecards love.ย Hope you like them and hope they give you a laugh and a smile this Friday morning.

The original Some E-Cards are snarky and hilarious. The user-generated ones are hit and miss.

LB – it reminds me of the New Yorker caption contest, where they take an old New Yorker cartoon and ask for a new caption from the readers. I think the Punch magazine in England did that also for a while.

Those were cute!
I don’t “do” Facebook, so I’ve never heard of “Someecards” before today. I learned about bitstrips last week – someone I know was preoccupied with creating her avatar and making sure it was as accurate as she could make it.
Oy…the lexicon has my head spinning! I never thought of myself as old or out-of-touch before, but this brings it to my attention pretty quickly!
