I’ve been playing with my brand new Nikon Df camera, testing it out in situations, attaching lenses to it, taking test shots wherever I can.
And one of the places I wanted to capture with this new photo-weapon was an eerily serene creek along Interstate 787. You’ve seen it as you drive by – a creepy white tree along a creekbed.
It’s Sunday morning. Not much traffic along the highway.
Pulled over.
Jumped out of the car. The “Deef” on my neck and a wide-angle lens on its chassis.

Quick shot. Works for me. Now it’s time to get back in the car and keep driving. Don’t need the state troopers catching me for an illegal non-emergency stop on the interstate.
How did you make this page snow?

I put my computer in the freezer until it was ice-cold… no, really, there’s a setting nested deep in the WordPress platform that allows you to make your blog page “snow” for a few days. Kinda cool, you like??
