Last week, I shot one of my two rolls of Revolog Tesla film – film that was pre-printed with electricity bolts and the like. My first shots turned out nice; I especially liked the one photo that featured a small lightning strike near the old Olympic Bar sign on South Pearl Street.

Now that picture was shot with Revolog Tesla 2 film, which shows red lightning bolts. I liked that photo so much, in fact, that I decided to shoot my other roll of Revolog Tesla film – the Tesla 1, which shows white lightning bolts – with the same idea and concept.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get very many good pictures out of that roll.
Well, I did get one good picture. One ghost sign that still holds a smidge of electrical power in it.

And you know what?
I do like how this photo came out. So I’m moving this picture, along with the Olympic Bar one I shot last week, over to the “short list” for competition season 2014.
And I’m going to order some more Revolog film. This stuff has possibilities.
Very electric possibilities, if you know what I mean…
