43 (or more) cartoon themes in an orchestral maneuver

So this is a test. How well do you know your favorite cartoon shows? Could you pick out one of those classic themes? Could you name them if someone else played them? Could you name them with your eyes closed?

Well, on today’s blog, I want you to try.

The Carnegie Hall Ensemble orchestra created a mashup of more than 40 of your favorite cartoon theme songs, all played in symphonic elegance.

Here’s your first test. Click on the YouTube clip and close your eyes. Try to name as many theme songs as you possibly can. Go ahead, I’ll wait…

How many did you get right? Ten? Fifteen?

Okay, watch the clip again, this time with your eyes open. There will be plenty of animated “clues” in the video, which should help you in identifying the shows.

So now what’s your total? Twenty? Twenty-five?
