So here’s the deal.
Last week, a friend / blog reader contacted me. Her cousin has redesigned some lofts in Schenectady’s Stockade area, and in addition to showing off the new living spaces, they need some artwork for the upcoming Stockade Walkabout open house. They needed something that would show off the new lofts and apartments. Something that would enhance the decor.
Something that might involve the words “Agfa-Ansco” or “Polar Panorama” or “Waterwish” or something along those lines.
Yep. The developer has asked if I can provide some of my artworks as purchasable decorations for his redesigned apartments at Window Factory Lofts, as part of the upcoming Stockade Walkabout in Schenectady.

I quickly went through my archives. Well, what do you know… I have some artworks and they’re already framed and wired. Some of them came from Altamont, some came from other art shows, some were ear-marked for future shows. And after some careful consideration, I found five or six pieces that would work perfectly with the loft space.
Last night, I met up with the developer. He showed me the living spaces at the loft that would be part of the open house.
We agreed that Lot 102 would be perfect to show off the artworks. We hung three of the artworks on available nails in the brick; and he said he would take care of hanging the rest of the pictures today.

So if you’re out and about this Saturday, and you happen to visit the Window Factory Lofts as part of the Stockade Walkabout tour…
Stop by Building 102. And you can purchase any one of six different Chuck Miller artworks right off the walls, including framed copies of Beecher Creek Falls, The Agfa Bridge over Ansco Lake, Low Tide at Sunrise and Black Bridge Polar Panorama.
Or maybe, if you’re feeling like you need some living space of your own… you might want to consider taking out a lease at the Window Factory Lofts.
A great way to spend a Saturday.
Congratulations and thanks for the info on the “walk about on Saturday”… Years back I went to one and loved it but as I am generally gone on the week-ends I haven’t been back since then.
I am happy to say that I am around this week-end and will look forward to seeing your Artwork
I always loved the Stockade and at one time those homes claimed a “hefty price tag”…unfortunately no more as the taxes go up and up in Schenectady County….people take great pride in their homes there.
I am now looking forward to it.

“Jesus Saves” would’ve been perfect for that brick wall.

I actually have plans for “Jesus Saves” for 2015. Specifically, June 2015. More details coming soon.
