** Florian “Venom” Kohler is one of the top proponents of “artistic” or “trick shot” billiards, in which the shooter uses angled and masse shots to curve a cueball into knocking a ball into the pocket in a specific way and manner. In other words, this ain’t no “8-ball in the side pocket” game.
And with that in mind, I’d like to show you one of Venom’s most popular artistic billiards videos. With this video, he curves the cueball around various barriers, he shoots it through a hand-held triangle rack, he makes the cueball curve and swerve with the skill and finesse of a cobra.
In fact, in this video, you can see that he uses one of the most difficult obstacles as his barrier. He shoots around the obstacle, he shoots over the obstacle, in some cases he shoots through a tiny opening in the obstacle.
Don’t believe me? Take a look.
I’m telling you, this guy’s got mad skills.
What can I say? Willie Moscone’s got nothing on this kid.
Am I right? You tell me. 🙂
