Twenty men versus a Chevrolet in a snowbank

Imagine you’re driving along a cold, snowy highway.  You think everything’s okay … and then suddenly you lose traction, you don’t negotiate a turn, and you slide off the road and land in a snowy ditch.

Ugh.

Now you have to figure out how to get back on the road.  There’s no traction under your wheels.  Your undercarriage is probably packed with snow and ice.  For all intents and purposes, you are probably stuck there until the spring thaw.

And …

Here come some good Samaritans.

Twenty of them.

Some of them lash a rope behind your car’s rear axle.  And they pull on the rear axle in a massive game of Tug of War.  Meanwhile, other men push on the hood of your car, hoping to countermand the laws of physics against the laws of Mother Nature.

And … with that amount of effort … and with brute strength and commitment and desire and camaraderie –

Twenty men helped free a snowbound Chevrolet from a snowy ditch.

Trust the power of goodness and strength.

And somebody get that Chevy owner a new set of snow tires.  Or at least some snow chains.  Amirite?
