On Saturday, February 4, 2017, dozens of teams will compete for the Capital District’s championship of useless knowledge and minutiae, the Trivia Bowl.
This is big. And the number of teams competing in this annual challenge keeps growing and growing.
So who are this year’s competitors? I’ve got them listed here. Note: some teams have had their names slightly altered due to Times Union sensitivity issues. And any team with a * star next to their name means they have won a Trivia Bowl championship or two in the past.

Several other teams will be added as a result of regional bar and tavern competitions.
The winning team will receive their team name on the championship Trivia Bowl, some cash, and bragging rights as the kings of local trivia. And believe me, bragging rights are some amazing things.

this is off subject but, I just found out many cars no longer come with a spare tire! People don’t know this untill it is too late and they have to be towed ( at least $50.00). They are sold as an accessory!!!!!
