Tonight’s episode features an interview with Wall Street Journal reporter Cameron McWhirter, who is the co-author of the book American Gun: The True Story of the AR-15. Cam discusses the book, which tells the history of the semiautomatic rifle from its beginnings in a hobbyist’s garage, to its use in war, to its current iteration as the weapon of choice for senseless mass slaughter of innocents. In the second half of the show, Cam will also talk about his time at Hamilton College and as a broadcaster on WHCL-FM back in the day.
