I wasn’t sure if I would do it in 2024. But after seeing the same advert pop up in my Facebook feed … I had to give it at least one try.
There’s an upcoming art gallery show in Fort Collins, Colorado – the theme for the art show is “Wonder,” and they’re calling for entries.
Now I’m thinking “wonder” as being able to capture an image that makes people take a second glance. And after going through my archive, I thought these four images had the best chance to fit that theme.
So here they are. Two shots from 2023, and two from legacy.
And in entering this show, I realized … that I still have a goal. A goal that one day, one of my artworks will hang on the walls of a New York City physical art gallery. I don’t care if the gallery is in Soho or Tribeca or anywhere so long as it can be accessed within the five boroughs.
To this date, I’ve gotten close. Very close. But I’m still one turnpike, one expressway, one parkway away.
And I mustn’t give up on a goal like this. It can still happen.
Here’s hoping that someday … it does.
Starting in 2024.

Good luck Chuck! I finally caved and entered 3 images for a gallery here in the Binghamton area calling for photos. This will be my first time doing so.
