Wait, how many entries were accepted at the Big E this year??

When we last arrived at Competition Season 2024, my two entries for the Big E’s photography competition, How God Sees an Eclipse and be pRepaired, were entered for consideration, with only be pRepaired gaining acceptance.

That was as of yesterday.

This morning, I received an email that How God Sees an Eclipse was actually accepted to the Big E, and will join be pRepaired on the walls of the New England Center this year.

Celebration. Dance around like nobody’s looking.

So that’s two entries going to Springfield this fall.

But I have a secret. I’m not bringing two entries this year.

I’m bringing THREE entries.

The third one, however, is not photography-related. It’s not one of my previously-crafted latch-hooked rugs (although there is a category for latch-hook rug creation, those are for youth only). It’s not one of my old soda crates that I rebuilt into a hope chest or a table.

Trust me, if you’ve enjoyed this new art project I’ve been involved with over the last few months, you’ve got an idea of what I’ve planned.

Trust me on this. Take this information and hang it on the driver’s side window of your car as you’re parked in front of the big screen and eating a tub of butter-soaked popcorn. 😀

Yeah, you saw what I did there.
