What’s Up in the Neighborhood, August 24 2024

Yes, this post, which usually arrives in the middle of the morning, is being penned in the EARLY, EARLY morning. Because by the time you read this, I’ll be on my way to Syracuse to see how my five photos fared in the New York State Fair’s photography competition.

In fact, while I’m gone, the brand new drive-in speaker restoration video – in which I restore a 1940’s-era Motiograph bakelite speaker – will premier later today.

But I didn’t want to head on that long journey without taking care of something important.
