By now you’ve read the newspapers and discovered that North Carolina’s firebrand Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, who is currently campaigning for North Carolina’s governorship, is – shall we say – going through a few things.
CNN has reported that the controversial politician, who has espoused the return of slavery and the criminalization of transgender people, has an online past. An online past under the identity of “minisoldr,” which I suspect is either “Mini Soldier” or “Mine is Older,” but either one is still kinda creepy.
And that “minisoldr” identity has appeared on a number of not-safe-for-work adult sites. Here’s the link, but I am warning you – the content in this article is very disturbing and somewhat graphic. NSFW and trigger warnings.
And among the many icky comments the “minisoldr” account posted on these sites is one that shows Robinson’s enthusiasm for transgender adult pornography. Especially transgender porn actors with cisgender women.
From the CNN article: “I like watching tranny on girl porn! That’s f*cking hot! It takes the man out while leaving the man in!” Robinson wrote. “And yeah I’m a ‘perv’ too!”
Excuse me while I go throw up.
Because this shithead lusts over transgender pornography – while at the same time openly campaigning to remove medical care for transgender North Carolinians. This couldn’t be a clearer definition of hypocrisy if Robinson’s face was pasted next to the definition in a Funk and Wagnall’s.
And worse. Robinson’s actions confirm that for him, transgender people are good for one thing and one thing only – fetish porn to satisfy his voyeuristic desires. He doesn’t care that there are trans soldiers and trans doctors and trans lawyers and trans truckdrivers and trans actors and trans comedians and trans musicians and trans creators and trans family members … All he cares about is if they are willing to get naked and do some pornographic gymnastics to satisfy his pornography addiction.
And this chud is running for a state governorship? And he’s the Republican nominee for that governorship race?
I mean, it’s not like the GOP would support someone who had these kinds of puerile perversions as a political powerbroker, would they? Oh, wait …
Oh, yeah. Kinda forgot. Or tried to.
And it’s not like the North Carolina Republican Party would ever want someone with those kinds of actions running their state, would they?
Damn it. They’re not only doubling down on this oaf, they’re pushing in all their chips, running to the ATM to clean out their bank account, and calling their boss to draw a loan on their 401(k) for this ignoramus.
Makes me sick. That transphobe is repulsive. And even with all that, there’s still people who look at him and think, “Hell yeah, that’s my guy.”
And I bet those people are now quickly running to the internet and deleting their easily-traceable comments and search histories on PornHub.
Because, of course they are. Ugh.

From DownBallot today: A desperate, last-second attempt by North Carolina Republicans to oust their disastrous gubernatorial nominee just ahead of Thursday’s deadline to withdraw from the ballot sputtered out after Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson refused to step aside despite calls to do so.
Robinson’s critics hoped that a new report from CNN would give them the leverage to force the lieutenant governor out of the race. But the new message board postings unearthed by the article, while appalling, did not differ substantially from the plethora of offensive commentary Robinson has long been known for.
A defiant Robinson released a video shortly before CNN’s story came out in which he claimed he had not written any of the posts attributed to him and vowed to stay in the race. But even had Robinson dropped out, he would still have appeared on ballots, which have already been printed and were slated to be mailed out starting on Friday. Instead, GOP leaders would have chosen a replacement candidate, who would have received any votes cast for Robinson.
The effort to boot Robinson came amid a cavalcade of terrible poll numbers for the Republican that stretches back months. The drumbeat continued with a quartet of new polls on Thursday that all showed Attorney General Josh Stein, Robinson’s Democratic opponent, with sizable leads.
