Okay. I need a major pick-me-up. I need some music that actually rocks me from my toes to my nose.
And this morning, I found the track. As performed by an all-star group. Well, an all-star group assembled by online remixer DJ Cummerbund.
See, DJ Cummerbund took the classic 1970’s K.C. and the Sunshine Band track “That’s The Way (I Like It),” stretched it out to about 14 minutes or so, and added lyrics and riffs from a TON of singers and guitarists and pop culture references. Trust me, if you’re an aficionado of remixers like Girl Talk and Deadmau5, this is the song for you. And it even gets the K.C. stamp of approval, as he introduces the track!!
I will warn you that it does have some unexpurgated language in it, so the track might not be safe for work, or to play around impressionable young children. That being said …
