Elon Musk can go jump in a lake.

I have absolutely no use for Elon Musk or for his vastly overpriced, overhyped and shoddily-built Teslas. I’m proud of my hybrid car that was built in America by union men and women and operates on a network that is (thankfully) incompatible with Musk’s Supercharger grid. And my Chevrolet Volt would NEVER be mistaken for a Swastikar or an Inc-El Camino. Just sayin’ is all.

But yesterday, Elon Musk made a horrifying post on the social media platform X. He was responding to the rising amount of anti-Tesla protests around the country, along with the some targeted violence towards Tesla supercharger stations and display lots.

I’m just going to leave this here. Because … well … his comments make me sick to my stomach.

Ugh. And according to this news report, Musk also posted a Fox News clip (naturally) that postulated the possibility of the death penalty for someone involved in a Tesla protest. It is official. We now live in a society where a Cybertruck has more civil rights than a woman.

And believe me. I don’t have to have skin in this case to condemn Musk’s anti-trans comments. It doesn’t matter that my son is trans. It wouldn’t matter if I even had a child or not. Elon Musk spreading anti-trans horseshit like this is both vile and repulsive. It’s the blood libel version of Mad Libs, where you insert one random race or nationality or religion in Line 1, and a derogatory slur in Line 2. You’re probably playing along right now. “All _______________ are known to be _____________.”

And it’s comments like Musk’s that are going to get someone killed. Someone who may NOT be involved in Tesla protests, but who are just living their lives and following their truth. And that’s frightening in and of itself.

It’s at this point that I’m resigned to the fact that speaking out against President Musk might jeopardize my safety. I mean, Elon Musk and his band of DOGE winged monkeys have already mangled Social Security, and I’m sure they have my personal information and whatnot. They’ve also most likely tracked everything I do, right down to the keystroke or to the footstep.

Fine by me. Just remember this. As far as I’m concerned, Elon Musk was born in a time when a white minority ruled over a black majority in a developed nation with a brutal legacy of apartheid.

And not only am I not going to play by the rules of apartheid … whether it’s against the LGBTQIA+ community or against a straight ally like me …

I ain’t gonna play Sun City, either.
