I just heard from the New York State Fair, 2025 edition

Waited on those emails all weekend. Waited, waited, waited …

And then … after lots of despair …

I received word.

Last year, four of my photos made the walls of the Harriet May Mills Art Center; this year, I’m hoping for better results. Along with two entries in the Arts and Crafts section of the Fair.

Eight entries. How did we do?

All I know right know is if they were accepted or not. No idea on ribbons or the like.

Oh, well. I’ll take five out of six. Five out of six is pretty damn sweet.

Now let’s check the Arts and Crafts section. Did my Coca-Cola crate get some love?

ACCEPTED

Yes, folks, it’s the real thing. Party on!!

And now for the big question. Did I turn this drive-in speaker into a display piece at Syracuse?

Survey says …

ACCEPTED

FIST PUMP FIST PUMP FIST PUMP!!!

Eight entries submitted, seven accepted.

Now I have to decide. And this is a big decision.

Do I drive up to Syracuse for the New York State Fair … or do I cruise on a Yankee Trails bus up to the big show?

Either way … I’m happy as a Trekkie at Comic-Con.

Let’s see how all this turns out.
