Back in the summer, I had a photo shoot up at the Corinth Reservoir, one of the darkest skies in the Capital District. I captured the Milky Way during a meteor shower … and one of the meteors photo-bombed my Milky Way image.
Specifically … this little capture.

I had several prints produced by my lenticular print company, and framed one up.
This afternoon, I’m taking it over to Albany Center Gallery for the annual Members’ Show.
I’ve decided this image will not only grace the short pile in 2026, it will get entered in nearly every single competition possible. The photo is simple, it’s thoughtful, it’s the kind of image that reaffirms my love for creative photography.
And I never want to lose that creative vibe.
The Albany Center Gallery Members’ Show will run through January 2026. So if you get a chance, come out and see The Shooting Star.
And I promise you … you won’t have to travel all the way up to Corinth for the experience.
Not that there’s anything wrong with traveling all the way up to Corinth …
Yes, that was a great catch!
