There was a light dusting of snow yesterday morning. I left my home, walked down the porch steps, and saw this.

Paw-prints.
Now I know where I live. I’m not expecting paw-prints from exotic animals. I’m thinking these are from one of the feral cats that live in the neighborhood.
Interesting paw positioning, though … Nice and clean, no toe-drag or anything.
Makes me almost wonder if one animal made the original prints, and possibly others walked in those same paw-steps.
And then it dawned on me. An old chestnut of a line from a childhood motion picture.
Specifically … this line from this film.
Then again … I’m not thinking my neighborhood has been invaded by Tusken Raiders. At least not to my knowledge.
But perhaps my street is being patrolled by feral Jedi cats?
I’m more likely to believe that.
And in the words of Princess Leia-henrietta Pussycat of Alderaan …
“Meow Meow force be with you, meow meow.”
Cats walk very carefully through snow because they don’t like it. Dogs plough gleefully through a foot of the stuff and laugh the whole time. I’m with the cats.
