It’s morning in America and I’m going back under the blanket.

It’s warm here.Β  Not so warm out there.

But I’m going to brave this chilly weather long enough to bring your attention to some of the Capital District’s local bloggers, and some of my favorites from the blogroll.

So let’s start with the seven from the Times Union’s crew of community bloggers, and they include…

  1. Brian Huba’s “Cat’s Pajamas” blog, “Look what the Cat dragged (back) in.
  2. Laura Cofsky’s “Earth to Albany” blog, “Stop with the Excuses: Retire the Oil Trains.
  3. Rob Hoffman’s “Hoffman Files” blog, “The common and incurable cold.
  4. Jaye McBride’s blog, “TERF War, or Why I didn’t go to the women’s march.
  5. Christine McCue’s “My Cape Is On Backorder” blog, “Earth, Wind & Fire and Tony the Tiger.
  6. Walter Ayres’ “Faith in the Public Square” blog, “What about you?
  7. Rabbi Matt Cutler’s “Congregation Gates of Heaven” blog, “Preparing for my father’s Yarzheit.”

And now some blogs from my blogroll, all of which are worth perusing this week…

  1. Carl Johnson’s “Hoxsie!” Albany history blog, “The Destruction of Tweddle Hall (and more of its history).
  2. Rob Madeo’s “Keyboard Krumbs” blog, “From the Heart.
  3. Amy Biancolli’s “Figuring Shit Out” blog, “Life is Huge.
  4. Roger Green’s “Ramblin’ With Roger” blog, “In search of a blue tsunami.”
  5. Silvia Lilly’s “DelSo” blog, “The lively Dead Rabbit.
  6. Daniel Berman’s “FUSSYlittleBLOG” blog, “Thorny Rascals.
  7. J. Eric Smith’s poetry and history blog, “And This Day: Mark Edward Smith (1957-2018).

Have a great WARM day, everybody!Β  I’m going back under the covers of my nice woolen Canadian point blanket and sleeping until springtime.Β  πŸ˜€
