About a year or two ago, I appeared on an episode of The Glenn Slingerland Situation as “Dead Body #2.” Of course, appearing on Albany’s cool hipster avant-garde music video TV show has its perks… especially when you mention to someone that you’ve appeared on The Situation and they ask, “Did you get to hold the barrel?” (Yes I did.)
After the show aired, Glenn Slingerland was kind enough to send me a DVD copy of the episode. However, I was hoping that at some point the episode would appear on YouTube, so that I could link to it. Yeah, I could have put the episode up on YouTube myself, but it’s really Glenn Slingerland’s video and not mine. Copyright, friends.
So last week, Glenn contacted me to alert me that not only did he have a new YouTube channel for Situation episodes; he also let me know that the episode I appeared in – the one in which Robert Plant and Band of Joy performed the Low song “Monkey” – was now on YouTube.
So click the video player below, and you can see me – and my lifeless body – starting at the 10:15 mark of this video. That’s right… Your man Chuck is right here… on the Situation… Sure!
Chuck, your performance was kind of flat there!!!!!!………………………………I do love the Situation and wish it was back on the radio.

Wow, 3 pairs of hot legs standing over you couldn’t bring you back to life?… I guess you really were dead.
And tell me you weren’t looking up that chick’s skirt on the right. Yeah, that’s what I thought. 😉

Can someone tell me what these are? Is it a new kind of art form? I always see these (when changing channels) usually of one or two women in black, walking slowly. I’ve tried watching a couple of minutes and the whole thing makes no sense to me.

Unfortunately, Chuck, your performance lacked a certain depth.
