Back in October 2010, I took an assortment of my best photographs, added inspirational quotes and Scripture verse – and produced a coffee table art book called Motivations, Vol. 1. It had a decent print run, and you can still order a copy or three for a holiday gift.
But as you might have noticed, the book is called Motivations, Vol. 1.
Which begs the question… Would there ever be a Volume 2?

See, I know that there are times when things get rough. Times when someone needs inspiration to get through the troubles in their lives. And after several troubles I went through in the last two years – a divorce, the loss of various relationships, the thought that I might never see my daughter again – a book like this keeps me afloat when the storms pour through. Wow, Chuck, is there no end to your talents? The pictures look beautiful but you know us Atheists – we could do without the scriptures and would be glad to find inspiration from your pictures in our own hearts.

I’ve been following your progress as a photographer, and I think you’re becoming a real artist. That black and white cover photo of the Palace Theater is fantastic. Looks like a frame from an old 1940s detective movie. Very atmospheric. I just flipped through the book. Every picture is interesting, and they’re all different. Great job, Chuck.
