Too bad they don’t make Renaults in America any more…

So here’s the deal. The French car manufacturer Renault has just introduced a commercial spotlighting its new car, the Clio. In addition to the car’s exceptional safety features, its kickin’ sound system, and its tight maneuverability, it really has captured the imagination of the small-car market.

Oh, it also has on its instrument panel a “Va Va Voom” button.

What, you ask, is a “Va Va Voom” button?

Well, let’s say you’re a guy and you want to test drive the Renault Clio. You drive for a little while… and then you press the Va Va Voom button.

And, according to the embedded commercial, THIS happens.

Okay, okay, I know what you’re thinking. Yeah, get that dirty thought out of your mind.

No, the OTHER thing that you’re thinking. “This is great if you’re a guy driving a Renault Clio, but what if the driver is female?”

Don’t worry. Renault’s got that covered, too.

Only thing I’m wondering is… what would happen if I had one of these Renault Clio cars and I pressed the Va Va Voom button somewhere in the Capital District?

Ha ha ha ha ….
