Best of our TU Community Blogs, December 10, 2015: Ten for Thursday

Man oh man, is the snow ever going to arrive?  Jeez, the last time I was this concerned about snow arriving this winter, it was because I saw a spoiler for Season 6 of Game of Thrones…

That’s fine, feel free to groan at that joke.

But what I don’t want you to groan about is the newest listing of ten of the Times Union’s community, independent and unpaid bloggers and writers, who deserve your consideration and support and readership this year.  The list this week includes:

  1. Don Rittner’s history blog, “Exploring underutilized tunnels, subways, alleys and other cool spaces!(Read this first.)
  2. Frank Robinson’s “Rational Optimist” blog, “The App Generation.
  3. Mary Martin’s “A Good Enough Life” blog, “A well-kept secret…
  4. Walter Ayres’ “Faith in the Public Square” blog, “Reacting to religious prejudice.
  5. Angelo Civitella’s blog, “Visitors.
  6. Brian Huba’s “Cat’s Pajamas” blog, “a changed news cycle.
  7. Assemblyman John McDonald’s blog, “Will Outside Income = The End of Corruption?
  8. Aaron Bush in the “Fiber Arts” blog, “Before you buy that bargain wheel on Craigslist or eBay.
  9. Gina Peca’s blog, “Are you laughing, Larry?
  10. David Kalish’s “The Ruminator” blog, “Amid protests, Saratoga County in talks to curb tree cutting at popular forest.

There’s ten community and independent blogs to start with, and there are many more that you can enjoy at the Times Union blog portal.

Have a great day everyone, and just remember, “Winter is coming.”

Well, it better get here before George R.R. Martin kills it off.

Sorry, couldn’t resist another Game of Thrones joke.  😀
