This was a great game and it felt good to move to 5-0.
The Albany Patroons took a tough Jamestown team and ran the score up to a 97-86 win.
The victory helps keep the Patroons on pace with the Kansas City Tornadoes as the only two unbeaten teams in the TBL. Jamestown falls to 2-6 on the year.
Five Patroons scored in double figures, including 19 points from Darius Paul (including three rim-rocking dunks), a 20-point, 8 rebound 8 assist night from Lloyd Johnson, 18 points from Edwin Ubiles, 15 points from Stephen Cunningham – including three hits from 3-point range – and a 12-point, 8 rebound evening from Alonzo Murphy.
For the Jackals, James Helton and DaVonte Stewart led the western New York squad
That’s the game and the win.
But I realized something – as I was calling the game for the Internet streaming audience, I realized – I’ve got the best seat in the house. Courtside, no one in front of me.
And I had my BlackBerrk KEYone camera phone nearby…
What if I was able to get one of my “slo-mo” shots – the kind I had fun taking last year?
And in the early part of the third quarter…
Albany forward Darius Paul obliged.

That was his first dunk, he had two more on the night. But I got the one dunk, and I was happy.
So let’s see if I can get another dunk or an amazing play on Saturday’s game.
Tip-off is at 5pm.
See you there.
