What’s Up in the Neighborhood, October 31 2020

Hey folks, you know what day it is. It’s that one time in our lives when the kids come pounding on our doors at 7:00 a.m., demanding tricks or treats. This year, I was hoping that the little panhandlers wouldn’t come by… or at least understand that right now, I’m not dealing with the holiday.

Nope. Crack of morn. This is what happens when Halloween falls on a weekend.

Okay, kids, don’t say I didn’t warn you. Here’s treats for all of you. Yes, you can eat them, Necco wafers are candy. Now go down the street, I hear the house on the corner gives out full-size candy bars. Yeah, yeah, trick or treat, I know.

Okay, that’s taken care of. Now it’s time for some real treats. And no tricks.
