I need some happy dancing, don’t you?

I’ve got a lot of stuff going on of late. And you know what? I need something happy and joyful to get through these moments.

And apparently, I found something.

There’s a group of YouTube videos that feature athletic dancers grooving and jumping to classic rock and roll. No, seriously.

For example, here’s some energetic steppers bouncing around to the classic Electric Light Orchestra track “Don’t Bring Me Down.”

Yeah, that works for me.

Searching for “Shuffle Dance” brings up more of these people who possess serious happy feet. For example, let’s take Haddaway’s one-hit wonder “What Is Love?” and give it some happy shuffle dancers.

How about another one … this is from a song my son Kris used to love all the way back in ancient times, Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee).”

And of course, if we’re talking cool dancing videos, I have to go back to this old Internet meme from ages ago with the dancing Techno Viking, now upscaled to high resolution.

And how can you go wrong with seeing some senior citizen with the old hot-foot bouncing around to LMFAO?

And we have a super-fly dance crew bouncing and grooving to the Internet remix “You About to Lose Your Job,” also known as Donald Trump’s 2020 election results. 😀

And I can’t resist re-posting this dance number from the old vaudeville days … Wilson and Keppel doing the Egyptian Sand Dance. If this doesn’t put a smile on your face, man, you’re dead already.

You know what? I’m kinda feeling better now.

And I hope you are as well.
