The following is a playlist for the broadcast of the Nightowl Radio Show, a one-hour college radio show on station WHCL-FM. The show can be streamed tonight at 7:00 p.m. Eastern at whcl.org.
Tonight’s episode contains a mix of various dance tracks, an early rock and roll classic, and a blending between a 1960’s guitar twanger and a 1980’s sound collage collaborative. Fun fun stuff.

There is SO much James Brown music. When I was growing up and reading the subscription to JET magazine, there were SO many of his songs on the charts I had NEVER heard on the radio, 107 songs on Top Pop Singles, some of which were Bubbling Under the Top 100. 118 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Singles, ALL of which hit the top 100 and usually higher.
