The Latch Hook Covered Bridge project as of November 28, 2025 – it’s DONE!

Thirteen months of hard work.

44 inches in height.

80 inches in length.

53 different distinct colors used.

God knows how many episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision pro wrestling I watched in the background while doing this.

This is a slideshow featuring, step by step, my progress on this rug as chronicled in the blog.

But what was once a photo taken of a distinctive covered bridge in Woodstock, Vermont …

Is now a competition-worthy custom-made latch hook rug.

And it looks like this.

I’ve already coated the back with adhesive to make sure all the yarns are locked tight onto the canvas. And I’ll bind the edges at a later date.

But this is now earmarked for Competition Season 2026. And the way the fairs and shows are scheduled … I can enter this twice in 2026, and then twice more in 2027, if I alternate between the competitions.

Finally. Finished.

So … maybe I should start another one? 😀
