Best of our TU Independent Blogs, November 3, 2016: Ten for Thursday

Man oh man, we’ve got some great Times Union independent and community blogs in the collection this week.  Really awesome stuff here.  And you should know, these men and women write these blogs for the specific reason of entertaining and informing you.  They’re independent in that they don’t have to answer to Big Hearst in terms of topics or subjects.  And whether you like what they say, or you get frustrated by their topics, at least these posts make you think.  And at the end of the day, that’s the most important factor with these independent writers.
