Everybody ready to enjoy the Fourth of July holiday weekend?  (Except in England, where the Fourth of July is known as “Tuesday.”)

Be that as it may, it’s time to share some of the best writing from both the Times Union’s community (non-staff) bloggers, and then seven blog posts from my blogroll of friends that I believe deserve your attention.  So let’s begin, shall we?

First, a visit to the Times Union’s community of independent bloggers.  And this list includes:

    1. Todd Cramer in the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s blog, “We Agree with Norman.
    2. Lale Davidson’s “Out of the Ordinary” blog, “Squashing independent thought.
    3. Sonja Stark’s “PilotGirl” blog, “Biking the Warren County Rail Trail.”/a>
    4. Stacey Morris’ blog, “The Advantages of Discrimination.”
    5. Jaye McBride’s blog, “Happy Straight Pride snowflake!”
    6. Rabbi Matt Cutler’s blog, “Israel is in my heart, but I might not be in hers.
    7. Michael Wayne in the “Holistic Health” blog, “The Fine Art of Herbal Preparation.

And now let’s show some love for the bloggers on my blog roll.  And they include:

  1. Rob Hoffman in the “Hoffman Files” blog, “The Beauty of Baseball Cards.
  2. Daniel Berman’s “FUSSYlittleBLOG” blog, “The Age of Uber.
  3. Silvia Lilly’s “DelSo” blog, “Reasons to Rejoice.
  4. Roger Green’s “Ramblin’ with Roger” blog, “The intrinsic value of blogging.
  5. Lazygal’s “Killin’ Time Being Lazy” blog, “Imponderables, things that irk me no end edition.”
  6. Jessica Kitrick’s “Ravenalegria13” blog, “Dammit, HYDRA.
  7. Rob Madeo’s “Keyboard Krumbs” blog, “Stranger Than Fiction.

And that’s the blog recap for this week.  Have a great Fourth of July weekend, everybody, and enjoy all the fireworks!
