Lots of chores for me today… including picking up a wooden crate that I saw on Craigslist. You know I will turn that crate into something nice. But for now … “nice” is the list of local bloggers whose works should make your Saturday a lot of fun.
So let’s start off with seven blogs from the community and independent (non-staff) bloggers at the Albany Times Union. These good pieces include:
- Jaye McBride’s blog, “The Pats fans burden.” (what burden? The Pats – er, Patroons – are 9-1 and leading the division!)
- Lale Davidson’s “Out of the Ordinary” blog, “So Mexicans are taking jobs from Americans.“
- Antonio Civitella’s blog, “Why hack Tech Valley?“
- Brian Huba’s “Cat’s Pajamas” blog, “Occam’s Razor.“
- Rob Hoffman’s “Hoffman Files” blog, “Teaching on the edge.“
- Rabbi Matt Cutler’s blog, “A Man Died in Schenectady Police Custody: Questions Unanswered, Opportunity Not Yet Squandered.“
- Roger Green’s “Information Without the Bun” blog, “Defusing the US-North Korea Conflict: Building on the Olympic Truce.“
Hey, let’s now go check the blogroll for some other awesome blog posts, shall we?
- 98 Acres in Albany’s blog, “M-G-M Monumentality.“
- Silvia Lilly’s “DelSo” blog, “Getting run over by The 57 Bus.“
- Rob Madeo’s “Keyboard Krumbs” blog, “Pickup or delivery?“
- Carl Johnson’s Albany history blog “Hoxsie!”, “James Knight Moves His Tavern.“
- Daniel Berman’s “FUSSYlittleBLOG”, “Melting.“
- Joe Geronimo’s “Adirondack Joe” blog, “Learning to Curl.“
- Rob Moses’ photography blog, “Snowy Edmonton.“
Have a great day, everybody, and stay warm. Meanwhile, I have to go get a crate. Story of my life … 😀
Thanks, Chuck — but one thing: I admire Rob Hoffman’s work, but I think my blog post is attributed to him. Don’t like him THAT much…
