A few weeks ago, I stopped by the post office to drop off some mail. And as I walked by …
There were two little bunnies in the front of the building. They were munching on grass and totally oblivious to passers-by.
Okay, Hazel and Fiver, let’s see if you’re willing to pose for pictures.

Oh how cute.
All right, now for the real test. Are you guys willing to hold still long enough so that I can film you?
Let’s see.
Well, that’s nice. How about you, little bunny buddy? Watch the birdie…
So what’s so special about these little bunnies?
Nothing, really. Sometimes you just need a moment to stare at little wild rabbits and feel relaxed about yourself.
Nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all.
Obviously, we know what YOU watched on Saturday mornings!

How right you are, Chuck. So much to enjoy, right under our noses.
One such experience since I moved out to God’s country was my accidental sighting of a ‘hummingbird moth,’ poking around a cluster of phlox blossoms in the yard.

Not nearly as skittish as a hummingbird – even allowed me time to pop a cold one and pull up a chair.

Most every morning, I have a Flopsy of my own right in front of my porch, chomping away. She even lets me sit on the stairs with a drink and lets me talk to her like we were best girlfriends, like she is always listening, even though I know she is just listening for predators. Always just an arms length away, but that is ok enough to get my day started with a smile.
