The following is a playlist for the broadcast of the Nightowl Radio Show, a one-hour college radio show on station WHCL-FM. The show can be streamed tonight at 7:00 p.m. Eastern at whcl.org.
Today’s playlist includes a rare version of Herb Alpert’s “Rise” that became an accidental hit in the UK – hint: it’s not the version you expect. Also on the show tonight is aversion of “Our Lips Are Sealed” that ISN’T performed by the Go-Go’s, and a performer whose last name is Clapton, but his first name isn’t Eric.

Chuck:
It happens that one of the lads in Fun Boy Three co-wrote “Our Lips Are Sealed” with the Go-Go’s’ Jane Weidlin, and a few months after the Go-Go’s version faded from the charts, Fun Boy Three released theirs.
