What’s Up in the Neighborhood, December 10 2022

So I know today’s blog post is an early post. And I have an explanation.

I live in the Town and Village of Green Island, and about six months ago, several apartments at a waterside development caught fire and were destroyed. During the current reconstruction and restoration of the apartments, the Green Island Power Authority will turn off electricity to the Island so that workers can safely connect electric power to the apartment complex. Thankfully, the Green Island Power Authority alerted the Town and Village residents of the scheduled power interruption. So I have to get this blog post written by 7:00 a.m., or you’ll all be waiting for its publication until the lights come back on.

So here we go. No wasting time.
