Right now, a print of my slitscan photo The Three-Two Pitch is hanging at the Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, as part of an upcoming show called THE SWEEP OF TIME.
Specifically – this photo.
I’m truly thankful that this image made the cut and will appear in this gallery show.
Now when galleries promote upcoming exhibitions, they send postcards out to their subscribers and patrons and influencers.
What does that mean?
Usually the postcard contains an image or two from the show, as well as the show’s opening and closing dates. A nice little insert and promotional device to help sell the show.
Yesterday I received an email from Manifest Gallery, the Cincinnati-based art establishment, and the email contained a digital rendering of the promotional postcard.
The postcard featured five photos that were part of the upcoming THE SWEEP OF TIME event.
You might want to take a quick glimpse at this postcard.

Yeps. Right alongside works from Patrick D. Wilson, Jerry Birchfeld, Paho Mann, and Ricardo Barros … is The Three-Two Pitch.
Holy inside slider, Batman … My photo’s on the promotional postcard!!
Trust me, this is the kind of good news that can take a crummy day and turn it into a positive outcome.
And I’ll take good news like this every time I’m able.
