Chuck, as always thank you. It it an honor to be included in your round ups, but the best part is that I always end up discovering so many great blogs posts from other TU bloggers that I might have missed.

Some reasons why Chad’z post is terrible:
1. He calls Redhook and Blue Moon craft beer. They are, by the Brewers Association “craft brewer” definition, not craft breweries because they not independent. Blue Moon is and always has been 100% Coors and Redhook is something like 40% InBev. While this may seem trivial to a non-beer person, this is inexcusable for someone who claims to be knowledgeable and is writing about craft beer.
2. Dos Equis obviously translates to 2 X’s, and the label indeed has 2 large X’s on it, but the name of the beer is not Dos XX. That just doesn’t make sense to anyone.
3. Multiple spelling errors.
4. Honestly asks the question “Why do people pay premium prices for cheap beer?” when he himself bought the MOST EXPENSIVE BEER they offer. The answer Chad, is that most people, especially the one in question here, are stupid.
5. Also honestly asks the question “And why do they charge an arm and a leg for stuff that costs a fraction of these prices at retail?” How can someone who asks this question hope to ever be taken seriously?
Chad has a better chance of being elected president in 2014 than he does of every successfully doing some legitimate investigative journalism.
