7 and 7 on Saturday, March 17, 2018

Hey everyone, I have some great news for the 7 and 7 wrapup.

In addition to the blog posts …

I’m now adding podcast links.

Wow.  Chuck has REALLY gone forward in the world. 😀

Since it’s becoming harder and harder to find blog posts from the Times Union’s community bloggers – seeing as the Times Union’s community bloggers have been leaving the Times Union in droves, no longer willing to put up with Big Hearst’s crapola – I am now adding selected podcasts to my blogroll, and I hope you enjoy listening to them on your favorite podcast platform.

The first one I’m adding is called This That & The 3rd, a podcast featuring local sports enthusiasts and sports topoics and interviews.  The second podcast in the mix is called Love, Lies & a Side of Fries, and it discusses male and female relationships in today’s world.  I hope you enjoy both of them, I’m very glad to add them to my blogroll and – on occasion – to add them to the Saturday 7 and 7.

So what are we waiting for?

Let’s show off some episodes from the podcasts..

  1. Love, Lies and a Side of Fries podcast, “Episode 001: Dating Ex’s – Fun or F*cked Up?
  2. This That & the 3rd podcast, “Episode 009: High-Flying Patroons Retain First Place.

We’ll now pull five from the Times Union’s community bloggers…

  1. Rob Hoffman’s “Hoffman Files” blog, “That’s a stupid way to die.
  2. Brian Huba’s “Cat’s Pajamas” blog, “The Best People.
  3. Peter Marino in Lale Davidson’s “Out of the Ordinary” blog, “I Shot the Share If.
  4. Don Rittner’s history blog, “Naturalist at Large #3.
  5. Jaye McBride’s comedy blog, “K-Cup Adventures.

Okay, now let’s check out the blogroll for other great blog posts.

  1. Rob Madeo’s “Keyboard Krumbs” blog, “Click It or Stick it.
  2. Roger Green’s “Ramblin’ with Roger” blog, “Algebra: How do YOU solve for 10x^2+x-21=0?
  3. Rob Moses’ Photography blog, “Nike Destroyer Hike.
  4. Lazygal’s “Killin’ Time Bein’ Lazy” blog, “My Favorite Shark.
  5. Silvia Lilly’s “DelSo” blog, “G.W.T.F. and Celebrate Life.
  6. Carl Johnson’s Albany history blog “Hoxsie!”, “The Detailed Specifications of the Maiden Lane Bridge.
  7. Joe Geronimo’s Adirondack blog, “Another Year, Another Parade Mile.

There you go.  And if you know of any other local podcasts that deserve some attention in this blog, let me know in the comments below.

I have no objection to making this a 7 and 7 and 7 on Saturday, if the content is there.

Trust me on this.
