Okay. Competition Season 2020 begins … with a new contest. Super.
After years of experimenting with three-dimensional images – both in film and in digital – the Austrian 3D photo competition has just entered its “Call for Entries.” I have until April 1 2020 to submit my four best 3D images to the competition.
This could be fun.
Of course, by the time my fractured ankle heals, I might have come up with other photos that could be worthy of consideration, but for now these four are my “king of the mountain” shots. If I take a better photo between now and April 1, then that photo knocks one of these out of the mix.
Again, if you want to free-view these images without the need for a specialized viewer, just relax your eyes until the two images blend together. Relax the eyes, don’t cross them.
Thankfully, I can submit these images digitally, so we’re not incurring any overt shipping expenses to Austria.
My four entries for submission into this contest are:
THE ROOT GLEN 2019
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF LEICA GREEN
REXLEIGH BRIDGE 2019
CANADIAN PACIFIC HOLIDAY TRAIN ARRIVES IN FORT EDWARD
These are my four entries, and from now until April 1, every time I’ve taken a new photo set, I’ve compared it with the four that I’ve classified as “entries.” If it stands up to the others, then one gets culled.
Yes, even in my current “broken ankle” condition, I’m still trying to keep my photography dreams floating forward.
Hope things work out…
